Freedom to operate Search

Freedom to operate searches can be used:

  • For mapping out the technical field

  • As a clarification for which countries possible rights apply

  • As inspiration prior to the commencement of a new development project

  • As information about who operates within a given field

  • As a basis for assessing the potential of new activities in an area

Product characteristics

The search is made by searching in international patent databases on the basis of a description and drawings prepared by the customer. The scope of the search will be agreed upon in each individual case. Upon conclusion of the search a report will be made.

The report can be customized but will normally include the following:

  • Specification of the aim of the search

  • Description of the scope of the search

  • Overview of references, i.e. divided into categories according to technical features or relevance 

  • Search strategy and databases used for the search  

Delivery

Time of delivery is normally within 10 working days.
Before starting the search a latest delivery date and price estimat will be quoted.

Prices

The quotation of a technical search depends on the scope of the task and will be based on the hours spent (DKK 1,050 per hour). The price includes documents and the costs for normally used databases.

The above price is exclusive of VAT.
